Avoiding a Hope not Hate hand job

Hope not Hate Sunday Times hit piece on Generation Identity

All old hands actively involved in nationalist politics already know about fake left ‘anti-fascist’ attempts to shut down their free speech.

Nothing much has changed over the years.

And as Dan Hodges claimed, a newspaper columnist and son of a former Labour MP, who once worked for the campaign group currently leading the charge against free speech and freedom of association, Hope not Hate, they are prepared to use the most “dirty, underhand, low-down, unscrupulous” tactics in order to harass and close down perceived political opponents, whom they first dub ‘racist/nazi/fascist’ in order to whip up a far-left hate mob against them.

Besides ‘Tommy Robinson’, who is about to face further legal proceedings related to a previous disputed contempt of court jailing, one of the ethno-nationalist groups in the firing line is Generation Identity.

Last year, one of their activists Tom Dupre was fired from his job at a London-based bank after a newspaper hit piece in the Sunday Times.

It seems people associated with the ‘Tommy Robinson’ campaign had been naive enough to respond to feelers from Hope not Hate assets after a falling out within the camp of the ex-English Defence League leader.

One of the consequences of that was the sudden end of Tom Dupre’s career.

He discusses the plot to drive him from his job in a five minute BitChute interview with Lucy Brown (linked below) who has also been at the centre of a Hope not Hate-driven row with the BBC concerning their treatment of ‘Tommy Robinson’.

One of the golden rules of nationalist activism, particularly after a spat, is to avoid running to political opponents.

There are many examples of people who have done this and later regretted it as they have found themselves a social and political pariah.

Thankfully, Hope not Hate’s recent machinations have backfired on them and many people are now much more savvy to their pernicious game.

Politics is not just a battle of ideas, but a battle of wits.

Make sure it is Hope not Hate who are dubbed the half-wits – and not just you!
