The Conservative leader and millionaire toff David Cameron has signed up to it; the disgraced (Conservative) Devon MP Anthony Steen who whined that the voters were “jealous” of his large house, has signed up to it; the disgraced (Labour) MP for Norwich North Ian Gibson has signed up to it; they have all signed up to the list of supporters for the organisation which campaigns against the British National Party and which advocates that the native British people should be forced to tolerate a highly policed repressive regime in order to accept millions of migrant workers and bogus asylum seekers.
A rag bag of overpaid union barons who have done nothing to save British jobs for British workers; handsomely paid media pundits who live in ivory towers and haven’t a clue about everyday life on housing schemes; and disgraced MPs on both sides of the House who have recently been caught fiddling their expenses are hardly the most appropriate role models for any political movement but the absurdly named “Unite Against Fascism” (UAF) has a list of its signed up supporters most voters would find in the best case laughable or in the most likely case reprehensible.
The leader of UAF is one Weyman Bennett; he stood as a Socialist Alliance candidate in the “culturally diverse” Tottenham constituency in 2001 and polled a derisory 3.7% of the vote in what should have been a natural SA power base.
In an interview with The Times the unelected Bennett talks about physical confrontation and driving the BNP out of political life which implies physical violence and intimidation.
In March this year a BNP activist, 48 year old Tony Ward was brutally attacked by a crazed UAF mob in Leigh in Greater Manchester. The horrific attack made national headlines and a UAF supporter was arrested.
Evidence of criminal activity
We are publishing a recording which was made at a UAF meeting in Newcastle on Tuesday 9th June 2009.
Tony Dowling, the speaker in this recording, is also a member of the Socialist Workers Party, as well as Gateshead NUT, and regularly writes to the local press in the North East arguing that teachers who also happen to be BNP members, such as Adam and Mark Walker, should be sacked.
Civil Liberty owes no allegiance to, or receives funding from any political party. The BNP is, along with the Lib-Dems, Greens, UKIP et al, a legitimate party which has a mandate to represent its voters in those wards, constituencies and EU regions which have returned BNP candidates to positions of office.
Civil Liberty is releasing this recording in the public interest and believes a full police investigation should now be started about the UAF's proposed tactics and recent actions.
All current and disgruntled former Conservative voters should also be asking just why their leader is sharing a space with a failed candidate from the Socialist Alliance, a party which violently opposes the “the capitalist profit system.”
Listen to the damning evidence here.
